big pan subb

Cold front blew in with a shitload of rain today, but I got some subbs anyway.
This guy was one of the three big ones, and the biggest subb I've encountered so far.
I also found a few yesterday, too.
this one had a fat stem at the base
compared to normal...
I really like my new neighborhood. LOTS of subbs to be had.

I didn't have a digital camera. I've only had a camera for 10 months, before then, I had to use my phone (<1 megapixels).
Thus, almost all of my San Diego/south CA photos are crappy resolution, and all my Bay Area/ north CA photos are decent.
Haven't found a single subb since I moved up here!!
But I can't complain too much... Now I've got cyans.
edit: well actually maybe 5 subbs.... and thousands upon thousands of foes!

Curecat, judging from you dainty hands, manicured nails, and woven sweater...Ill bet you're a hottie!!!
(dainty: is that a word or is that just some of my southern redneck vernacular?)

My nails are NOT manicured. Furthermore, I dress nicely when picking actives. Hehehe.
Sorry about derailing the thread Pinhead.

I don't care whether my thread gets co-opted or not. At least I have mushrooms to eat. Now, getting to actually eat them is another issue...

Yep, that works every time! And of all the special mushrooms I've tried, Pan subbs are by far the tastiest. If they weren't active, they'd probably be listed as edible.
And curecat's giant subb pictures only appear that way because she's a 3 foot tall pixie with little baby hands. :p
