i got some gross looking sludge thats light brown and in the last few days, as my syzygy mycelium is growing so is this weird stuff, and its now forming little bumps.. wtf is this shit?? this is so damn annoying my success rate for agar is very low i need to know whether to cut off the syzygy and transfer to another agar asap!!

I don't know what it is, but it can't be good. Get your myc. outta there asap! And take multiple selections to multiple dishes, in case some of that stuff carries over.
good luck

well using a knife i cut off pieces of the mycelium tissue into a new fresh one NOTE mycelium getting cut was like crumpling up paper. when i cut the contam it moved like it was liquid, nothing like mycelium
i really really really hope that i dont have to do another transfer because that bastard came back

Correct, it's bacteria and you shouldn't ever touch it.
What you do is transfer a tiny piece of mycelium the size of a grain of rice to a new dish. Do this several times to inoculate several dishes. Allow them to grow for a day or two until they've expanded about 1/4" from the transfered piece, and then grab another tiny piece of mycelium and again transfer to a new dish. Don't wait for contaminants to show up.
Contaminants on agar are not failure. That would have been a wasted jar if you hadn't used agar to clean up the culture. RR

whoops typo
i ment : in case that bastard DID come back" not because
well, would bacteria spread like spores? I hope everything goes good with this and they start growing mycelium again NO BACTERIA cause thats the only syzygy print i had

I had the same damn problem with my F+ clone. Every time I transfered, the same type of bacteria would come out. I finally transfered enough that I got some real nice growth before bacteria came back up. By then, I had two quart jars of WBS ready for them. I cut two big wedges and transfered them today. I think I made it! It was a pain in the ass to be "running" from bacteria dish to dish. I can't wait to see my WBS jars take off!

You can also pour hot agar right over the bacteria on the dish. The hot agar will pasteurize the bacteria, while not seriously harming the mushroom mycelium, which will grow up through the agar to appear on top, generally free of bacteria. I use this trick a lot on outdoor mushrooms I bring in to clone. RR
