you have the 'split' variety and regular friscosa in the same tight patch there

yeah, there is a variety of ways cyanescens...erm..strains, appear. This is the first time I've seen the split one next to the regular 'friscosas' bunched up like that..

it's all getting complicated, eh?...hahah

I think it is the weather causing this. I have seen this happen localy

That has been my experience with other mushroom species, though I cannot generalize, as I am not very familiar with these unidentifieds.

I've said it from the very beginning

there is only one sure way to find these shrooms

it takes long hours of looking around..I mean long long long hours....nay, it takes years, like 20 years of searching to find spots like that...sometimes you get lucky, many times you don't

sometimes, there's people like Tahoe who only want the location, and if you don't

viola

needless to actually say why people like me continue to find new patches (duh)

why we are able to keep those patches (no kidding)...no brainer

Everyone, please be civil.

There is no reason to get nasty... It's mushroom hunting!! Do we really need to get our panties in a wad over differences in opinion???

Huh?

I'm doing my best to keep moderate here.  I'm sorry for deleting the posts.  However, they were in reply to tahoes posts, which were also deleted, and context is lost, and the posts would have been misplaced.
It wasn't fair.  I wish I had caught the situation sooner.  Please don't take it personally.  :frown:
