So i got off work today and me and Laska decided to look around the area where i found the large patch on Monday we got there and right away i found a new patch. I am really surprised i missed it last time.

then about ten minutes later and a shourt distance away i found these.

and another picture of the baby cyans. They are getting ever so slowly bigger.

so far i found 5 seperate patches in this one area.
THANK GOD for irrigated landscaping.

here's some pictures of a patch we found.
We went to take pictures, and check on the babies! I hope no one steps on them while trampling through the landscaping because they are so close to the foot traffic. :fingerscrossed:

I think this is going to be a very good year if the weather permits. Alot of spots ar just waiting on the verge of fruiting.
I think this area Laska posted is going to take off this year. they replaced the woodchips like two summers ago with the red ones they are putting everywhere now. There were 0 fruits last season, but over the last year i think the Myc colonized very well.
Those pins are actually a seperate patch from where i found them before. The main part is dry, but at least they are in the immediate area. I think its a good sign that that patch is doing good and spreading.

my camera is packed up for the move but i checked out one of my campus friscosa patches today to find that it had exploded in the last week and a half. there where about a hundred specimens in various stages of maturity, the opened of which ranged from half dollar to pub-glass diameter. a few of them where the largest i've seen by far. these things are the size of cubes.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Report from anonymous (edited for clarity):
"I have had a really psilly week since last weekend. Everywhere I go I seem to find them. I went yesterday to a spot where I found oodles of "CaynoFriscosa" and found yet a another flush just two blocks away tho not as big, growing right in someone's flower bed . People have no idea ! This morning while riding my bike, I notice in one of the street medians a huge flush of something orange. I lock up my bike and walk over to check it out and sure enough it was that "Friscosa" again. This flush had only about 50+ examples. I left them there due to the fact it's in the middle of moving trafic, the exhaust has all kinds of nasty chemicals. I then decided to go check around EDIT. I was suprised to find tons of healthy flushes, over 70 + examples."
