Well... I did my usual weekly rounds n GGP (three hours this time) and I was surprised by the paucity of my harvest, a mere 6 cyans. I don't want to complain; I just thought all of that rain would have led to a bumper crop. Perhaps, some of you beat me to it. Although, so far this season there's no scarcity of 'em in GGP.
IN any event the six that I found were on their way out. But, certainly worth my time. I'm looking forward to expanding my quest. A certain area of GGP never fails. But, it getting to be a bit boring.
Good Luck fellow Shroomers.

This is suimush's friend. I've gone hunting with y'all. I recognize the morrels and cyans. What are the ones you have at the top? And what were the others growing in clusters?

Its about time!! [Re: signofthesun]

2 years ago in march early march I found a patch of would be cyans. It was way too late and they were just dry black skeletons. I just knew that they were cyans. last season I saw some little pins there but we never had enough moisture to really get them up for a good id. This morning I had a few hours before work so i decided to make a quick trip to vallejo to check them out. Sure enough they were there by the hundreds. Only 1 problem. Ther were people all around for some stupid protest or something. So i sent my decoy (my dog)over to investigate and I acted as if I was petting him and snapped these shity pics and grabbed a few handfuls. I left the rest for later in the week.

These are some from a patch I know about. Sui and I went to check it although we thought i wouldn't have much, we were surprised with how well it was going. It would be a great spot If It would rain more. Dried up pins everywhere.
