i didnt find anything today.
They must spray fungicide all over martinez
but while we were out we saved a bird, it was bleeding from the head and had a broken wing so we took it to the lindsey wildlife museum in walnut creek and theyll fix him up and reintroduce him
so then we were on our way back and my buddys car died. Its gone RIP.
then my bike chain broke on the bike i just bought from the thrift shop today.
Today was frustrating but okay i guess.

The wildlife museum was a nice spot to look around, i found some prime, perfect stropharia auarantiaca, if there had been psilocybes there they would have been spectacular.
I wish i could have poked around a bit more.

I went out today and one of my patches was just exploding... lots of cyans cheek-by-jowl with friscosas (including some really big ones). Left a ton of pins. Here's what I came back with...

This week I happened upon what looked like a nice patch, but I couldn't take a close look because it was right next to a busy office. I walked away and crossed my fingers that it would still be there today.
It was!
All told, there were five discreet patches at this location - three cyan and two friscosa (cyan, friscosa, cyan, friscosa, cyan - in that order). It was all within a fifty foot stretch.
These were some excellent specimens. The cyans were in particularly good shape. They felt like they were made of rubber and the stems were beefy. Stoked!
