I think between Tahoe and Auweia this thread has lost some steam. I read this page everyday and im quite tired of reading the word "poach".
For the sake of the shroomery and the people who are losing interest because of stupid, off-topic discussion, please stop everyone.
No disprespect to Auweia and Tahoe, I like both your works, but please@!
so... I found a bunch of exposed mycelium in a park down here in so cal. Im very curious as to what it may be for animals did not do it and its a perfect spot for cyans. The mycelium look very promising. Ill post pics in the hunting forum later along with my several subb hunts ive been on.

I found some Blondie Morels while hunting for Cyans today..... It was very strange.
Alan got some photos. But he's sleeping now. I'm tempted to put his hand in a bowl of warm water.

I am pretty sure he said, "i remember my first times in cultivation i always thought that how could nature gives a sterile place for mushrooms to grow".
This is why I request that eveyone makes it known to us if english is not their native/first language.
I work with a guy that can not read analog clocks. The other day I was working on the computer and he was standing over my shoulder. I asked him wtf and he said he was checking the time. I pointed over at the time clock and he said, "I do not do analog clocks'.
I just shook my head and mentioned that the us educational system is failing us

I woke up today and went to GGP on a random impulse at 7Am, spent 4 hours searching. I found 3 really small cyans, and right when i was about to give up, walked into a huge patch of cyanfibs? with tan wavy tops. I never managed to find a single active in the grass ever, they all seemed to be growing off pine needles and dead branches. I was wondering, how many of those cyans should I take for a trip equivalent to an eigth of dried cubensis? I dont have a scale so Im going to have to go by number of mushrooms, theyre all small with caps the size of a quarter.

blue, none of them have veils. Some are orangish/brown with white stems, the others are tannish with white stems, with kinda bluish/green underside, all over when handled. the only other poisonous species that can kill me is galerina right? and those have veils?

> none of them have veils.
Most Psilocybes start out with a veil, but many Psilocybe species don't have veils which leave a ring on the stem like Galerina marginata does.
> the only other poisonous species that can kill me is galerina right? and those have veils?
There are many deadly species of mushrooms. The one you will find most often in Psilocybe habitat is Conocybe filaris and Galerina species, which both have rusty orange spore prints.
Some Galerina species have veils, some do not. Some of the Galerina species that have veils don't leave any ring on the stem, so unless it is a pin, you wouldn't know it had a veil.
> Some are orangish/brown with white stems, the others are tannish with white stems, with kinda bluish/green underside, all over when handled.
The only rule that you need to know is that the ones you are looking for have dark purple brown spore prints and bruise blue. None of the toxic or inactive ones have both those features.

Wow. Really nice pics Alan! Good to see shots like that comming into the thread still.
Why is this thread so hostile. I think we all forget were here for mostly the same reasons, and live pretty close to eachother (worldly speaking anyways..) Its like... if deathcapcubensis isn't around to pick on... then... oh nevermind.
