No no, I wouldn't destroy a patch even if someone was raping the hell out of it. I was just stating that logistically it seems that nothing else could be done to stop said raping. Jeesh.

i'm sorry then. i would generaly recomend cloning the patch. then the one getting blown up is still there, a new patch is on it's way and there are more mushrooms all together. such behavior is a part of the reason there are so many woodlovers in the north west.

auweia,

Though I'm certain the bay area contains more than one myco-freak who hunts specifically by bicycle with messenger bag, I think we've met. Remember a spot George Lucas ruined?

Ha! I knew it.

Stumbled on that spot (literally) in the dark walking to the bus stop after hearing Stamets speak at one of the Fair's. Unbelievable.

Unfortunately I don't have any photo's, no camera then either. It was a weird feeling going by there after it had been torn out. Luckily I knew it was coming, so had an idea of what to expect.

Also of similar note, I don't know if you remember me bringing it up with you, but I recall asking about "those oddly shaped cyan's with the fat heads" that they are now calling "friscosa's" or something of the sort. I even brought it up with Stamet's one year and he dismissed it as a mutation of sorts. Which made sense as I only ever found them in actual woodchips. (strong nutrient base)

And furthermore, I've found Blue Ringer's in eastern Contra Costa county. Year old sod.

Oh wow, just realized how the moderator went in and edited my posts.

I've been away from the boards for awhile, didn't know that selective censorship was cool around here. Way to go free thinking individuals!
That's totally unlike government control and Fox News rolled into one!
Change what you say for you!

Because, when a business does me wrong I can complain to the Better Business Bureau so that anyone who might think of doing business with them will be forewarned. Yet when a person on these forums does me wrong where do I post my warning?

Now he calls them Ps. cyanofibrillosa. I believe they are a variant.

You can take up your complaint with the administration by filling out a support ticket. Or do nothing if you feel it is more trouble than it is worth. You can also address this with me in PM, but I will not allow further arguing in this thread. This thread too often wanders off course, and I gave warning to everyone that they cannot post about drama in this thread.

While they were in the process of tearing it up, there was piles of earth across the street next to that building. I looked closely, but piles of earth are tough to identify, to say the least.

Before they ripped it up, I tried my hand at transplanting some of the lawn to another area. Of course I wasn't familiar with the process then, and what came up next fall bore no sembelance to what I thought I had "planted" there.

I do recall meeting one other individual out there. Weird guy (imagine that). Older fellow. Nice enough, but total wingnut.

Then there was the individual I was stupid enough to tell about it.... (after ridiculous and continual begging, of course)

Was the "wingnut" an older, skinny dude with shoulder length gray hair and a gray mustache?
