salvage it.

Is there a way to kill mold or can i just cut the tumor off along with some of the cake. Do you think the mold can spread to the shrooms and contaminate them?

No on both counts. I'd suggest picking the fruits now, or placing the cake outside to finish. You can't cut mold out of a cake. It only spreads it.

Trying to salvage mould infected grows is pointlesss it will only spread like RR says, remove before there is any chance of infecting other cakes and grows.

The only mould i know of which u can sometimes fight is cobweb, and thats with the use of h202, but if ur FC gets enough fresh air, u should not see that.

Contamination sometimes happen. discard and move on, good luck with future grows

is it ok if i keep the cake isolated from the other cakes. it is currently in its own fc. My question is if the shrooms will be ok to eat when they are down growing. Will they get me sick?

Possibly; depending on what endospores or bacteria are growing. Some greens wont hurt your but yellow? Im not sure on that one. If you keep it around, even in its own FC , the zillions of spores that contam could be releasing could hinder your current and future projects. Pick the shrooms and ditch the cake. Start a spot outdoors in the shade and start burring everything in there. Never throw it in the trash.
