BTW Champ Bailey and Dre Bly both got owned last night for a touchdown each.
Go read the Brett Favre thread I bring up the fact they got stepped on... however, I said in that exact same coverage of the Miami game, 9 out of 10 times those TD passes would be picked off by a good corner like Bailey or Bly. Im not defending them saying no one can throw on them, thats just not true. But, this is about the pats so I wont go on a rant about the Broncs.
Just to clarify, I am not saying he is a shitty QB... he makes bad throws and is saved by his recievers. Even in the seasons he won 3 superbowls he threw a lot of bad/sloppy passes. He has been lucky enough to have pretty good recievers so that when he does make mistakes he still gets the stats.
Other than this season, if I was to choose a QB for a Football team I am coaching, I much rather have Peyton Manning than Tom Brady.

Brady has more than just a slim chance of having more Super Bowls than any other Quarterback. He has a real shot of getting more than Montana did, more than Bradshaw did, more than Aikman did. That's more than Peyton Manning can say at this point in his career.
Oh, did I mention that Brady has played 2 less seasons than Peyton Manning?
He'c calm under pressure. Manning gets rattled pretty badly whenever he gets knocked around. Oh yeah, he can play in snow too. The Colts would have never won the Super Bowl if they didn't play in a dome. It's an undeniable fact that Peyton Manning can not play in cold weather.

Its an undeniable fact that are all sucking Brady's dick only because of this season. I hate band wagon fans. Someone find me the link to this discussion last season or the season before that, or the season before that. You wont be able to because there isnt one. Brady is having a good season against bad teams.
And yes, the Cowboys arent as difficult to beat. They are only good because they are in the NFC. Look at the NFC, no shit they are doing well. The pats beat the Chargers who I consider a good team as whole, but even that win wasnt that great since the Chargers didnt even show up to 3 of their games this season.
Pats and Brady are over rated.

Oh bullshit. This argument started because somebody made the ridiculous claim that Brady is inconsistent. I am not a Pats fan, but I know a good QB when I see one.

I am not kissing up. I just have to admit, that considering my team has sucked longer now than the Patriots, if we were to run off 3 titles in 6 years, and people started calling us out aka snitching, about something EVERYONE does and we started doing to them what the Pats are doing to everyone, I would love it. As it is, the QB argument MY team has is "Brian Griese or Rex Grossman??" I WISH, oh GOD do I WISH, I had the problem of, "hmmm, we're winning by 40 (again) we really should get our starter out of there".
I've followed Manning since he was a freshman as I am a Vols fan. And after the bears, I've always followed the Colts, and would I take him over Brady? You bet. Does Brady suck?
Come on bro. Even with mascara, that he probably got off of a supermodel, he's in the HOF. RIGHT NOW!!!
I just hope he doesn't get his shoulder broke by some angry defensive player while they're running it up. It WILL happen if they don't knock it off.

They're still 6-1 and currently the top team in the NFC.
"They are only good because they are in the NFC" - they're still GOOD. You can't deny that they're a quality team all around.
It seems like your definition of a "good" NFL team would only fit about 4-5 teams in the entire league.
Beating Dallas isn't difficult? Which is why only the patriots have beat them this year?

Thank you for mis quoting me.
I didnt say Brady sucked. I simply said, season to season he is incosistent. Try arguing that he was as good last season as he is this season... he wasnt. His team carries him sometimes.
As for the cowboys being 6-1, so is Greenbay. If you even try to tell me Greenbay is an amazing team then you officially lose all credibility. A teams record only reflects who they play. In both cases they are in the NFC and play more NFC than AFC teams.
I think the 14-2 season the Chargers has last year was more impressive than the Pats, Dallas, and Greenbay records this year. The Chargers actually had to play tough teams last season. I dont think beating teams like Miami by 30-40 points is impressive. Its Miami not the Colts.
In anycase, you guys really dont seem to know stats or records from previous years otherwise we wouldnt be having this discussion.

You also were talking about how he throws sloppy passes....EVERY QB throws sloppy passes. Season to season he's inconsistent? Why, because he doesn't win the superbowl EVERY YEAR? Dude he's made the playoffs ever since stepping in for Bledsoe.
Every single season he's played, he's had solid numbers, solid TD-INT ratio, never has he ever thrown more INT's than TD's in a month.
"try to say he was as good last season as he is this season" so BECAUSE he's having a MONSTER season this year compared to past years....he's INCONSISTENT?
that's basically what you're getting at.

Are you retarded? Did you not see your ORIGINAL post saying that San Diego was the only "good" team the Pats beat this year.
"Good" team
here let me repeat myself
"Good" team. Not "amazing". "Good" team.
Dallas, is a "good" team. As I had said. Did I say they were AMAZING? Did I? No.
So stop trying to make a point out of nothing. Dallas is a "good" team. something you failed to point out when bitching about who the Pats have beat this year.

Really....notice how you're the only one in this thread aside from Dm, the bitter Redskins fan, whose trying to bash Brady. Oh i guess it's because none of us have been watching the NFL untill 2007 except YOU, right?
Just admit it, you're a bitter Chargers fan whose pissed that the Pats knocked you out of the playoffs last year. It's pretty hard to come to terms with, I know...

Last year, the Charger's hadn't beaten a playoff bound team untill week 15.
In fact, up untill week 10, they had not beaten a single team with a winning record.

Im not bitter that the Chargers lost to the Pats. I am not bitter they lost to the Jes. I am not bitter they lost to the 49ers in the Superbowl. Im not bashing Brady, I am telling you to get his dick out of your mouth because fame and fortune is not sexually transmitted (AIDS is).
My main thesis... going back a few pages is that Brady is not as good as his numbers show and that the Pats are not Unstoppable. So fuck you very much. I get it, you like dick in your butt and cum in your belly... Pats are not Unbeatable.

Your main thesis was also how the Charger's Record last year was more impressive because they beat more QUALITY opponents, right?
The Chargers last year didn't even beat a playoff team untill week 15, and they didn't even beat any teams with winning records untill half the season was over.
You also said Pats have only played ONE good team....guess who they might be...oh wait, it's the Chargers!
Dallas isn't a good team, despite going 6-1. OMG YOU SAID THEY AMAZING NO THEY AIN'T YOU MUSN'T WATCH FOOTBALL.

I will admit Dallas is a good team and that is my mistake... but I will say that put Dallas up against most teams in the AFC and they will lose. Not JUST the Chargers but many AFC teams, its just stronger than the NFC. But you are wrong about my main thesis. Go back and read my original posts.
Conclusion: Tom Brady is over rated and you like to suck his dick along with everyone else in this thread (excluding myself and the redskins fan that wants to cry).
Im a Chargers fan but that doesnt mean I am 100% biased. The chargers are a good team and the Pats did beat them. I dont know why you cant accept that fact as unbiased. I never said the Chargers or any of their players (though I can name 2) are better than the Pats or any of their players.
But lets be honest... 14-2 is much more impressive than 7-0 or 8-0 (thus far) with a rookie (starting wise) QB no matter how good a single running back may be.
If I didnt say it before, Chicago last season and the 13-3 Ravens were much more impressive than the Pats this season. Both teams with shitty offenses still winning huge games. The Pats have an incredible team so its less impressive.

so because the pats have an incredible team, that means its less impressive for them to win games...

I'm the biggest Bears fan in the world and that is utter nonsense.
I was scared to death that we would lose every single game last season, as was most of Chicago.
I not only have no doubt that NE will win every week, but I expect them to win by 20+.
That goes for this weekend against Indy as well...

I HATE the patriots and I really hope Indy wins but I think the pats are gonna pull it out. I think if the pats win the superbowl goodell should audit their cheating punishment and they should lose all of their draft picks for next season.

Lets continue from the other thread. The Chargers played the following teams. Last season:
Raiders (are complete crap, obviously) Titans (went 8-8 and had a hot streak at the end of the season. Definately a good team) Ravens (one of the top 3 defenses last season; one could argue that their defense alone made them one of the toughest teams to beat. chargers lost) Stealers(Superbowl Champs coming into last season and chargers beat them) 49'ers (mediocre but not horrible) Chiefs (Terrible but they were projected to do very well especially with LJ, even this season I would say they are decent) Rams (One of the best offenses in terms of players) Browns (no excuse, they are bad) Bengals (One of the top 3 offenses in the NFL, very tough team with Ocho Cinco and Houshmenzada (sp?) plus Rudi Johnson and Henry) Broncos (Pretty good team last season especially towards the end when plummer was pulled, even though I liked him) Bills (another mediocre team) Seahawks(another very good team) Cardinals(not as good as projected so I will count them as a "bad" team)
Im not saying the entire NE schedule this season is easier, but they definately have 6 easy wins in their division which is piss poor. The only tough games they have coming up (in my opinion this season) is Indy and The Giants (though if you said Stealers I probably wouldnt put up too much of a fight).
