For the record, I would show you my butthole but you would fall down and worship it as a God and you would give up everything to roam the land converting the heathens by fire and sword. Millions would die. No, no the cost is too great. I cannot.

Whenever a band "goes back to their roots", they are usually just out of ideas and start to progressively suck worse and worse.

Has anyone tried the binary code OK Computer/In Rainbows deal? I think its bullshit.

I didn't use to like Amnesiac, but after a couple of listens I realized how good it was.
It really is an amazing album, in my top three for favourite Radiohead albums.

I love the new album. I love Trippin teddys avatar. And I Love that Radioheads web site didn't charge me a dime for a great but short album. Kid A will always be the best tripper, and every other album serves a rightful but seperate purpose.

It's great to see all the Radiohead fans here. They are my favorite band by far.. I listen to their music almost every day.

With that said, I was thoroughly impressed with In Rainbows the first time that I heard it. It didn't hurt that I was smoking some nice bud at the time either.

What some people don't realize is that it often takes a great deal of time to penetrate their music because there are so many layers to it and it is so deep.

Amnesiac is probably their most difficult album to penetrate in my opinion but once I started to "get it" I saw all the beauty and my change in perspective allowed me to fully enjoy it. Radiohead's music is kind of like a Picasso painting. Some people look at it and think it's just fucked up or weird. Some people see it as a brilliant masterpiece. But the bottom line is that to have any appreciation for a work of art like this requires patience, a sharp ear, and an understanding of the context of the artist's perspective. Radiohead does not make singles really... each of their albums are to be appreciated as one coherent work.

Some people are just never going to get into Radiohead though, and that's fine. It seems like you either love or hate Radiohead.

Pablo honey blows.

i like they strange stuff more, and don't like their rockin stuff.

so i found in rainbows to be pretty boring, worse than hail to the thief even.

amnesiac being my preferred album.
