the other day i knicked quite a bit of seeds and soaked them in water. then the next morning, i planted alot of them. i have 4 sprouts. well i didnt use all the seeds that i knicked and soaked. i did take the water out of the cup, however, i left the seeds i didnt use in the cup. could i sow these with success? or are the ones i didnt use ruined?

i would just plant them and hope for the best. wont really hurt anything. if they didnt dry up to much then they may still sprout.

im just usin the same thread so i dont waste room on the forum.
ive got 6 sprouts, and a couple are big enough to be transplanted into their little pots. how close can i grow these together?
by the way. germination rate isnt the best. but i got them to sprout 3 days after sowing.
edit: also, once i transplant the sprouts, can i take the humidity dome off, so it can get used to my basement? i would imagine so

no need in this case, but on the other hand it doesn't hurt either How close together?? As close as the pots can fit, have them in separate pots... Do not acclimatize directly after transplanting, you don't want several stress sources at once.

do d. illinoensis need to be in a humidity tent if grown from seed in my house? I thought it was only cacti that needed that.

they never got any bigger than that. the pot is about 10 inches across. They dont seem to like being too close to each other.
