copes grow better in the fall?
    #7541978 - 10/21/07 09:23 AM (16 years, 3 months ago)

Last year all the way up to december, I remember the field behind me just covered with these gyms. I was so used to cubes back then though, i was spoiled and didn't realize that dried out, a cope trip can be alot better then that of a cubes intensity and mind fuck.

But I want an opinion from one that is expierenced. Do the copes grow better in cooler temps then cubes?

in my opinion copelandia, is far stronger and better that the cubes, about the growing growing condition i will say this, copes where usually species from tropical environment herein the last few years this mushrooms are spreading to other Territory's, for many causes, the use of cattle, the spreading of spores by cultivator, the changes in weather ,some cold places are becoming more warn or hot, so what i have notice in Mexico you will say Mexico is a tropical country wrong ,we can have places with freezing temperatures all year long in all the volcano's mostly at more than 3500 MTS, some get as hight as 4500 mts above sea level, and so i live in a template environment, at 2000 mts above sea level if you get down a bit around 1200mts or below the change in the climate is incredible you enter in the hot coast climate, the tropical conditions, so don´t think all Mexico is tropical only the places below 1200 mts mostly , the rest is template, or super cold, what i have notice is this copelandia cyanescens are adapting new strains that adapt to colder environment are there i found more species between the colder and warn environment that in the warn environment so my theory is , in this actual time, many strains of copelandia exist some can stand warn temperatures some others some more colder, for example copes grow in Australia, in UK, in USA, and in many tropical places, but for example in Hawaii a very tropical place they only grow as far as i know in the pastures of the volcano's in almost 3000 meters if don't bad remember, and no cubes exist, also in some places they take over the territory , pulling cubensis away, so i guess yeah they are adapting to colder environments, all my best
