Salvaging Grain spawn (Not recommended)

Well, i thought this to be a interesting post. None the less I doubt it will work and if it does it's purely luck i am not expecting much at all but hey, if it works it works and it can lead to further experimentation.
So i had 12 1 liter jars of rye/millet semi colonized with Australian p.cubensis but the growth slowed down to the point of a crawl and it's been 18 days and my window of opportunity for success was limited so instead of taking it I thought I'd at least try a experiment.
Bacillus infected kernels hollow out, when adding them to water they do float (I scraped out the infected kernels from the side of a jar and tryed to sink them by soaking in water, no go) So I got the idea to remove the infected kernels from the water (not many got into it to start with) but anyways, after removing the floaters and skimming the water to clarity I took into consideration this window of opportunity I'm working with, I can't remember the exact cell division rate of bacillus bacteria but a single spore doubles itself every hour, so the remaining endospores in the soak water will replicate but this is exactly what we do when we soak our grains anyways...
So taking into the consideration that a PC will either 1 kill any active bacteria/mold 2 render it dormant and presenting me with a small window of opportunity. During the soak I added a cup of coffee to drive the mycelium into a frenzy and on top of that I will be using a Liquid culture for inoculation.... If the mycelium can colonize the jar in a quick amount of time I don't see this being a problem.
it is just bacteria, no trich or any other foreign spores were germinated on it so hopefully it works and I can post some results and make lemonade out of lemons
Anyone see this being a problem? and don't cutt me down I'm not expecting anything but to at least say I try ed it.

I've re-PC'd contaminated jars that were caught early, re-inoculated them, and had them actually fully colonized before the non-contaminated jars.
PC'ing twice can also dry your grain out, so adjust your moisture content accordingly when inoculating by adding a little extra spore solution, LC, etc.
With as cheap and readily available as WBS is, it's really not worth the risk though.

Endospores are not the problem. It's LIVE bacteria, which soaking in water spread to all the grains. RR

live bacteria is more acceptable to a PC then its endospores from my understanding, am i wrong?

Aren't you supposed to soak RR? You make it sound like his soak ruined his grains.
