Favourite desiccants?

Hello everyone!
I say! I'm looking for a good source of desiccants... silica gel seems most preferable, but I've never used desiccants as a drying tek before. Would some brave souls and fellow Keepers of the Sacred Flesh be so kind as to volunteer their favoured desiccants, and the means by which they are acquired? Who so ever helps me in this matter shall be showered in imaginary riches!!!!!!
Indeed!!!

So far I use silica gel packs collected from old clothes and shoes I bought. Not very easily obtainable. However, as I'm typing, I bet that you could go to any sporting goods store where they keep all their shoe boxes out on the shelf for people to find their size to fit themselves, and simply confiscate as many gel packs as needed. I like these things best for maintaining optimum dryness. To initially dry the fruits, your better off with something bulk.

Snackmaster for 24 hrs, then into the jar with indicating silica gel (sorbentsystems.com [reusable Dri-Box]) for storage. When the jar is full, into FoodSaver bags they go.

Thanxs for that, ill be looking for one of those, even if i have to order it from the US and get a 110 to 220 transformer, after drying 48 grams with the oven door open and on a rack in the warm updraft for a few hours then into a tub of descens and repeating the next day, cracker dry but not potent, even after eating 3 grams. trance like state no visuals.
worst way of drying, even at the very lowest setting.
Just found them on ebay, there american ones, but there going for about $20-$30 i wil buy one next week when im paid, and get myself a wee transformer.
Now i wont have to worry about my shrooms getting wasted.
