Here are my first batch..
Birthed them two days ago. Patched the pie tray ones a little as they had lots of growth. Now two days have gone by and the foil ones are almost completely covered. Should I patch them again? Or just let them go?

These ones look a bit more normal. Some have little shoots pointing straight up into the air. They are Treasure coast. The foil trays are Mazatopec. I poured a lot of piss out of the non foil trays.

What if anything should I do? Would love to see some shrooms this time, don't want to make any mistakes in the final stage!

cool.
did a bunch of reading and I guess I either incubated too long, didn't drop the temp enough, gave them too much untrasonic misting, or a combination of all three.
been patching but it grows right over the new layer within a day. at least I know I've got me a virile strain.
hope I can see at least a few fruits, within the next ten days.

You have alot of overlay on those top trays. I would try pulling them away from the sides, I would bet you are gonna get alot of side and bottom pinning.

Yes the one on the bottom looks a little strange. The growth is kind of hard looking clear plastic like substance. I figured it was happening from water dropping on it from above.
I turned the ultrasonic down quite a bit ad went from 15min every 30min to around 15min every few hours or so.
Maybe I should separate the ones with funky growth?
I would feel so satisfied if I could get even one mushroom from the damn things.

are you trying to add uncolonized cakes to colonized ones?

I would say recase those top ones but your out of room. Try applying a thin casing layer and dropping RH to 80% and up the FAE a lot. This will slow down the vegatative growth. Your chamber looks to high in RH for casings IMO,

Update/ Conclusion:
Got pins, 10 days since birthing. Got to go out of town tomorrow for a week. I was thinking of letting them finish, by leaving them in an area of massive air flow. This would allow them to finish fruiting, as well as dry out the casing completely within a few days, before stuff started to rot. It's either that or scrap the trays without completing them.
Does anyone think this is possible??

Check out these last two:
Separated them (on the way to the bin), but surprised to see some pins on them as well. Yes, that's dog hair on one of them.
