Recreation of the visual experience
    #7538228 - 10/20/07 03:38 AM (16 years, 3 months ago)

Does anyone know if there is any vids that recreate the visual experience, like room breathing etc, been trying to find but have no idea what to search for, my searches just return silly videos of people tripping.

I wanna show my GF what people see on shrooms

This creates an optical illusion that is like the mild breathing wavy effect to me.

turn your speakers on and open the link again.

to the OP:
As far as visual recreation goes... These fractal clips are really cool but she's never going to know what the visuals will be like for her until she tries it... there is no means of comparison

That is very true of course.

As for the sound I did have to reload the page with the volume on. Tis better muted.

Where is that video from the movie renegade? The guy drinks a potion with an indian then goes into a ten minute psychedelic experience. On youtube it's touted as 'ayahuasca' but in the movie it's portrayed as psychedelic cactus.

The video is a little dark, but some of the visuals are dead-on, if they were a bit more colorful. Apparently the director worked with south amercian tribes in trying to accurately portray the 'other world.'

Wish I understood all this 'embed' crap.

Blueberry

I'm pretty sure its supposed to be aya, no psychedelic cactus is going to give you effects like that... Even if in the movie they claim it to be psychedelic cacti, the directors main intention was a full blown DMT experience...its flagrantly obvious. He probably thought that people could identify much more easily with peyote than with ayahuasca....

I have always thought that this visual is one of the most true to life i've ever seen. When the pattern in the carpet starts moving and swirling and then it climbs off the carpet onto the wall. I've seen that exact thing happen while trippin'.
