I found this in front of my apartment.
Habitat: on the grass under the tree in the rain, in front of my apartment building. it's already came off the ground so i'm not sure if it grew from here or someone drop it there.
Gills: gills color is white to fainted yellowish white.
Stem: Whitish like normal button mushroom color, slightly enlarged at base.
Cap: Red to Redish Orange (kinda like tomato) have some sticky stuff on there, smooth, a little less than 2 inches diameter. have white freckle scattered around the cap.
Spore print color: In Progress.
Location: Found in Richmond, BC in residential area
My guess would be that this is Amanita Muscaria. but it's too round and stubble. i think amanita should be more flat and spread out. also it's really strange to found this in the center of the city instead of out in the wood. Also i would like to know if this is edible or not. Thanks

How far away was the nearest pine tree?

That is my guess too, but a better picture of the base would be needed to be sure. It should have concentric rings.
> i think amanita should be more flat and spread out.
It spreads out as it gets older, it is very round when it is young.
