The elevated land!

An allegory:
Say the entire world, was in two planes. The lower, and the higher…
All people started to live, on the lower. But, all people want to live in the higher.
Now, there is an aerial tramway, which goes from the lower-, to the higher- plane. (Vice versa.)
The rules are: One can only stay at the higher plane for 10 minutes, when taking the “tramy”… Then one has to return. And one cannot go back up, before it has taken 10 more trips. Then one can take it again, and get to the top for 10 minutes…
(New people, would always be prioritised though, so if there are people who has never been at the higher plane and seen the sights and all, they go before you, even if you waited 10 times…)
Some might actually stand by the “tramy”, and wait for turn.. Some might do other things, on the lower plane, while waiting… Either way, the clue is that all would like to be at the higher plane!
But, one can actually stay there for all of life; If/When one climbs up….
The goal of all humanity would be to be on the higher plane. (In this allegory.)
Some climb… It is straight up!
So, one climb some, put in 'a nail' to secure… Then climb more, etcetera…
Point being, most people would just use the “tramy” even with the limitation, no?

Yet to be fine tuned. I had this in "my" mind for all to long though...
Anyways: One thing to add: When one take the 'tramy', one might spot an easier rout to climb to the higher plane, later on..

It describes my path, as well as the role of psychadelics within that, very well.

I think it really depends on the person-
But to get to the elevated plane you speak of with psychedelics, you not only need to use the psychedelics, but also have other certain predispositions, such as intent, spirituality, set and setting and perhaps some other random chance type things. Just to get up there.
Some people seem to be purely recreational, others may have a purely therapeutic experience, others may just get scared.
Assuming one gets to the higher plane, again different things can happen with different people. Some may not realize it's possible to be there all the time. Some may only want to glimpse it once in a while to "align their spiritual compass", some may be motivated to find a way to be there all the time.
It varies so much that anything is possible

That was a little far out for me.
Next time use an allegory with animals and colors. Easier to digest.

Well, referring to myself personally, I spoke of the role with my path. I agree that what you refer to here is very necessary for a profound, transformative experience, in regards to the nature of reality, but regarding the "elevated plane", I do have some dissent, which I'll address by quoting your next statement.
Quote:
Some people seem to be purely recreational, others may have a purely therapeutic experience, others may just get scared.
Even if, for some people, a psychadelic experience is purely recreational, I would still think that the experience would fit Gomp's analogy of the higher plane. The experience would still be very novel, heightened senses, an enhancement of their ordinary life - a glimpse of a higher state of living, even if their life isn't within the same context as the one you describe, regarding spiritual and seeking intent.
The experience would still be beneficial and growing, I think.

If you had ever been to Bergen, Norway, you would very well understand why Gomp chose the analogy of the tram.

And how do you determine which of these are more valid? I think that each of these proposes as well as many many others can have the ability to get one in an elevated place. I generally agree that intent matters a lot, but since you yourself said anything is possible, I think that every kind of outcome can be something highly beneficial, so let's not stick to preconceived ideas.

In this allegory psychedelics could be the "tramy", but please be so kind, not to limit it at that...

Certainly, it just came up because it is probably the best example for this psychadelic community.
For example, I was there when my grandmother went through the process of dying, her leaving the world and the world after she had left, and it was quite the tram experience, one of those very rare ones that doesn't take you back down.

This allegory has nothing to do with the ulrik(en) ..
I thought of this, while watching James Bond..
Please, F_G? Get of my back? Speak for yourself, not try to speak for me?
It is kind of annoying..

Lighten up dude. It had nothing to do with what happened with your mind when you came up with the idea. It was simply me having fun with the fact that you are from Norway.
Progression of thought: You are from Norway, I was in Norway once and went on the trams to the tops of the mountains, your post involved trams in a way, I thought it would be cool and fun to make reference to it and post a cool picture.
I'm not on your back dude.

Its cool, and I thought the picture would add a nice graphic expression of the viewpoint from the elevated land, as well.

I am sure people know what a aerial tramwayway is...
I am sure...

Who here, would just wait for the "tramy"; over and over?
And, who here would start the climb?
