Three questions about the universe and you. I like to know the answers we as a community have for these questions.

I believe the Universe will cease to exist. It cannot expand forever, right?
And its pretty clear that the Universe is not infinite. With modern technology, we can almost see the end of it, no?
And I believe when you are dead, you are dead. Everything else is for children and acid-freaks.

In the law courts, in business, in government. There is nothing occurring in the streets. I believe that there is an endless nothingness, and that within this nothingness "particles" of a kind we do not know yet are flying around and bumping into each other. This is the Void.
Where a couple of these collide they form a higher form of energy, which eventually gets pulled apart again into its components.
In this sea of emptiness and "particles" no energy can ever be lost. The components join, stick together for a while and then disband again.
If an incomprehensible number of particles end up in close enough proximity there is a tremendous explosion, a Big Bang, and this will form a material universe, such as ours.
This universe too will be torn apart until eventually nothing remains but the Void. Structures assemble and dissolve, this is the nature of all things.
Because the Void is infinitely large, at humongous distances it is filled with material Universes in all stages of formation and decomposition, like a neverending fireworks show of Big Bangs.
I also believe that the number of ways the "particles" can fit together is limited. Consider the "particles" to be bricks of LEGO, infinitely joining to form all sorts of "projects" of finite composition. If you can only get one tub of LEGO into one room, there's only so many things you can build.
Because there is a limited number of forms that can be created, and because creation and destruction are an endless cycle, everything that can be created will be created into infinity, and in fact at any time it is present in an infinite number of locations.
This goes for material universes, this goes for planet earth and this goes for the essence of you.
Somewhere in your structure is a thing that makes you, well, you. It's not your experiences, your thoughts, your body, your senses, none of that. It is a small part of your organism and all it does is be you.
The You is a combination of factors that occurs in certain lifeforms. (you'd probably need a brain, for one) It may be hardware or software or a bit of both, but the bottom line is that it's a structure of limited complexity.
Given all the above, there can only be one conclusion: The essence of You shall reincarnate in all its possible guises, forever. You will have every possible body and every possible mind in every possible location in every possible way. This succession of lives is a cycle too, and it will last forever.
So there you have it: The Universe is infinite yet it is limited, and you will reincarnate in every possible way forever. When you move away from something you are moving towards it. Enjoy the ride

the universe is not playing by our rules. it can do what ever it wants. i am still very much under the belife that we live in a never ending fractal universe. it expands into itself infenetly

THere are some evidence that points to that the visible universe (about 12 billion light years) is just a TINY part of the overall universe. Meaning the universe is one huge ass place.
Another thing, it has been suggested that the universe is will actually contract, due to the curvature of the universe. One of the question is what happens at t = 0 of the big bang. I read some recent things about what happens at t=0, and what happens before t=0. We cannot know what consitute the universe before t=0. It has been suggested that our current universe is but one in an infinite cycle of universes.
I just don't know what I'm talking about, someone else enlighten us.
Therfore, I know I will continue to exist in some form, no matter what. So I'm happy

I think we may think with what capacity that we can, that the universe is supremely huge. To our scale it is, but who knows we could actually be a cell in a larger organism. We could be the organelles within a cell. We could be the Mitochondria of an even larger whole.
When we die we will be broken down and assimilated, gases will disperse, our bodies converted to carbon etc. Small organisms will take what they can use, and pass it along up into the web or tree of life.
When the earth dies, it will have the save effect. If it explodes then the system will be fertilized with the ashes and minerals, and spores The energy will be absorbed and used somewhere somehow by something.
If we took a larger view of our world and made it smaller, and looked at it under the scope like a doctor would. If we looked at ourselfs like were looking at a contaminated plate. We could form a symbiosis, or we can be a flesh eating bacteria spreading across the surface, we can be beneficial, or detrimental to the life of the host.

Less than 1 in 5 believes that Death is the end.
Wishful thinking
Besides...we both know how much faith is to be placed in "the general consensus".

For the record, I choose 'Undecided/Other', 'No', and 'I will die and this will be the end of it'.

i really dont know lol,. i think the universe has no end because anything else doesnt make any sense to me, there cant be nothing nothing at the end of the road lol. but when i die, i dont know, havent made up a conclusion that makes sense, i do belive that the most important thing in life is to reproduce tho, like thats how i will live on, by sending my genes to a next generation, so a part of me that way will live on but besides that i have no idea. if the universe will ever cease to exicst is just way beyond my understanding.. good questions. wich i knew these answers tho
