All mushrooms are interesting to find, but some more interesting than others. No fancy fun times from eating these, I suspect, but read on if you've got some time to help me ID:
#1 #1
Habitat: Wood - Found in bamboo forest/deciduous woods, growing straight from an upright rotting tree.
Gills: tan/orange, attached
Stem: Pale tan/ brown color
Cap: tan/Orange
Spore print color: orange
Bruising: brown
Location: Honshu, Japan
#2
#2
Habitat: Wood - Found in bamboo forest under bamboo and deciduous trees, growing from decaying wood and dirt
Gills: brown, attached
Stem: pale tan & brown
Cap: brown and tan
Spore print color: chocolate brown
Bruising: dark brown
Location: Honshu, Japan
Perhaps there will be some more different mushrooms popping up soon. Thanks for reading!

I was going to say Armillaria, but if the spores are orange then I guess its Gymnopilus. I would expect to see orange spores on the tops of many of those, but instead I just see purplish shadows. Which makes me think it could be something else like Pholiota. Not that I have ever seen a Pholiota that looked anything like that.
Was the spore print bright orange?
Any bitter taste?

It was not bright orange and I tossed the one I brought home before I got a strong print. I saw the purplish shadows on top of some caps now that you mention it, but didn't see that in the print so I didn't mention it. Good catch. Also, from all of the pictures I've seen of Gymns, they seem to be tough little mushrooms but these were pretty delicate. I was not brave enough to taste it but it smelled nice and mushroomy. Thanks for your reply!

I tasted the #1's today and they weren't that bitter so I'm in thinking maybe Galerinas? #2 was looking all like cubes from the tops, but cubes don't grow here, so yeah, nothing interesting .

Number one baffled me with the orange spore print. At first sight of the thumbnails Armillaria was the immediate thought. Let us know when you find out what they are
The second mushrooms look more like Agrocybe to me than anything else.
Stropharia should have a purplish tinge to the print. The overall form and stature is reminiscent of Stropharia I've encountered, but they always have distinctively purplish spores in my experience.
Agaricus, traditionally described as dropping chocolate brown spores, have free gills.
Another genus that may be a possibility is Hebeloma, I'm just saying that based on spore color and gill attachment.
All my guesses should be taken with a grain of salt, considering these are Japanese collections, and I'm a yanky. Sushi anyone?

The annulus and spore print on the first type suggests gymnopilus but if it is then i wouldnt know what species it could be.
