Casing Contam Before First Flush

Hey guys, have a couple of casings that contammed to differing degrees. 1.) Completely over the top, green on the sides but bulk sub clearly has white healthy myk in places 2.) Medium sized round patch about 6inches in diameter seems to cover mostly just the top. 3.) Smaller casing fully covered by what appears to be trich
So anyway, these casings don't look like the really aggressive looking thick heavy emerald trich growth I usually see when a casing is done for, it was more "wispy" and airy...sorry I don't have a pic, fkin cam is on the fritz.
So what should I do to these? I hate to throw them out and have never encountered this before... should I just toss um & forget about trying fruiting them ?

No, that trich may only look like its on the casing, but it's running all through the network. It spreads out quick, making soft spots in the mycelium that turn green only near the surface. Deeper down they're more brownish to me. Break or cut the casing up as you toss it and you'll see what I mean (do that outside or something though, don't spread more spores than you have to).
In other words, you can't recase it. The casing does have trich--and it may have been the starting-point of the trich--but once it's there, it's deeper. I have never successfully removed a trich infection once it took root. The spores themselves don't seem to germinate that easily on live myc (natural defenses at work), but the live trich mycelium goes absolutely apeshit and will burn through your mycelium at a few cm or more per day. You can scrape it, burn it, salt it, and it will keep going. I've only ever stopped it by cutting a block of straw literally in half, and even then it only kept the trich at bay for another flush.
In other words, that's hearty shit you've got there, so toss it out, it's as good as dead.
Now... that's if you're sure it's trich. Not all trich is emerald, as you described it. I've had stuff that looked almost pastel/sea-green, and it was kind of "wispy" as you described. Not like aerial mycelium at all, but clearly trich (or a mold of similar tint).
Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're experienced enough to know it's not aerial mycelium (which you definitely sound like you are), I do wonder why you haven't already trashed this grow. It's a definite goner, man, start on the next batch.
Oh, and if your trich hit during the casing run, next time maybe you should experiment with a new casing mix, or different additives. Do you test pH? If so, try to get it up to 7-7.5 at the very least. Trich isn't fond of basic environments, but your shrooms can stand them.

no cause the contam is already deep in. just cause you can't see it don't mean it isn't there.

sad =/ Oh well. I did successfully remove the casing layer of a couple that had small spots of odd looking stuff, the myc underneath looked healthy and normal and the casing peeled back from it pretty easily, seemed like a fairly clean clean off. So put those 2 away in a different chamber and to see if they fruit at all without a casing on them.

you can always try to bury them outside .. sometimes they fruit on their own in the wild
