ok, I've been finding what I believe are cyanescens in the greater seattle area. The spore prints look purplish bluish brown. they were found growing on wood chips. i'm noticing some blueing around the stems and the edge of some of the caps, but they are very fresh, and probably just shot up within the past few days, as it has been quite rainy. As far as I can tell these are what I think they are, but I took photos from different angles and thought i would run it by a group of educated people such as yourselves... thanks

There's a lot of blueing in those wavy caps. Looks like you have the right ones. Wait for professional's opinion with a big smile on the face.

Spore print em all to be sure. I can't see bruising on all of them so I can't say for a 100% on all of them but the ones that bruised blue are good for 100% sure. Nice finds.

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

Yup, all the mushrooms in those photos are Ps. cyanescens, I definitely see bluing.
What's with the last two photos?? Just staining on the paper?
