Does this statement make sense to anyone but me and if so explain yourself.
"We are both running from death and struggling to die."

The craving for existence and the craving for non-existence.
We want to be done (in a sense), but because we are unskillful in both thought and action, we do not know the means to become satisfied with each moment presented to us.
In order to die complete, you must live completely. In order to live complete, you must completely die.

The next stage is to deep fry the pizza.

Never cared for mustard as all I had was that over-vinegarred, yellow-dyed mustard. Than I had some fresh ground garlic mustard in Napa Valley with cheese and crackers along with my chardonnay. I became a 'convert'.

That may tilt the balance too much towards the death part of the equation. Bet it's really good, though...

Maybe, when we are born, we notice the difference between life and non-life (death?), and from then on, we are are contemplating between the two option... We are curious about life, but don't know if it is good enough for us... But we want to figure out so we don't want to die either. We got limited time...

For a large part of my day I am either consciously or unconsciously wishing I could just lie in the corpse position on my yoga mat and stop feeling. And in fact, that's what I do for a large portion of my day - that, or just sit silently doing nothing. These are the things I do which are reflective of my will towards non-existence; everything else as far as I can tell is reflective of my will towards avoiding the inevitability of non-existence. But those things can be very fun anyway.
-------------------- “Strengthened by contemplation and study, I will not fear my passions like a coward. My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

sometimes i get this feeling like i dont want to be alive in that moment. It makes me feel like going to sleep. Sometimes life is such a forced thing and it makes me wish i didnt exist. But non-exsistence is unfathomable.
-------------------- Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time TRANSCEND

It's an interesting idea but from experience I find that people almost never connect the dots that leads back to them personally.

I think most people can relate to the quote.
Life is difficult and according to bhuddism, life is suffering. So it is natural to sometimes think, 'I wish I could die right now and end it all,' and in that way we are 'struggling to die.'
Yet, life can be fun and entertaining and puzzling. Many people like to plan their lives out figuring how they can make life better for people who come after us. So we are 'running from death' because we have things we want to do, things we need to do, and there is only so much time in our lives to complete these tasks.

I think that's a misunderstanding. It's attachment to the impermanent which is suffering, not life itself. I know many Buddhists who love life!
