please you guys, clear this up for me.
some of my friends are afraid to try shrooms because they are afraid they will get worms.
Is it true that if you eat fresh mushrooms, you can get worms???
in this case i have maybe a few pounds of fresh cyans just picked yesterday, and a few friends are skeptical about eating them because they heard about this...so?

if they have worms on them then they'll most likely get worms...depending on what type of worms they are.
nothing wrong with worms, you can lose some weight...

i've heard that they'll eat your food and grow inside of you and then you poop them out. i always thought that they would gain the weight rather than the host.

Instead of lemon try the de-wormer tek.
If they are worried about worms before eating them I'd love to know what they see after.
I suppose it's a possibility. I don't know if the same worms that infest humans also infest shrooms. Seems likely enough on the surface. We all probably have worms. Mine are going to be drunk soon.

I've never heard that one before.
Are they also afraid of their brains bleeding?
Dry them to remove all doubt.

cyans don't grow on poo, there won't be worms on 'em. unless some squirrel shat on them. which, yeah a de-worming kit is OTC and pretty cheap, if they're really that paranoid.
there might be a slight risk from shrooms that grow on poo, i don't know, i'd guess that cow intestinal parasites might not be compatable with us.. pretty different sorts of things for them to eat, but i'm not really in to parasites enough to say one way or the other.
but cyans? you picked them off WOOD.. any worms that grow on wood debris, won't grow in your belly.
