No. Undetected trich will sporulate about three to five days after germination if it's near the edge of the substrate.

I recently read a thread here concerning trich
contamination ... people responding were advising
to fan more often in order to avoid trich infection.
I've never heard that one before ... is there any
merit to it??

Air exchange is the number ONE way to prevent molds. Trichoderma and other molds thrive in still, stale air. Mushroom mycelium thrives in moving, fresh air.
