South Tx Hunt Today

Went down south around Hempstead and Katy and found some nice cubies today. I don't have scales so I haven't a clue about the weight. But here they are.

No big one this time, but about 3x more weight than my last hunt. I found them in the same field as my last hunt down there. I also found these and I'm hoping they are Pan Subs. Prints are in the process. I'll post them tomorrow.

Thanks. Hope to find many more in a couple of days. I left about 100 pins out there to mature.

Sounds like a plan! I have a friend that moved to Brookshire, it's nice around there.

Those look like sphinctrinus, not subbs.
I'm almost positive they're not subbs. The bottom edge of the cap has a white coloration, and I bet it's jagged.
I see them in cow pies alot. I've not seen subbs in cow pies, though.
