which, if any, of those two enhanced your capacity for abstract/complicated, multi-layered, complex psychological/psychoanalytical/mathematical/scientific/cosmic/universal/spiritual thoughts on the long term more?
which one would you regard as the more fun and less profound hallucinogen?
which one would you regard as the more artistic hallucinogen (useful for artists, be it music, drawing or anything else)?
which one would you regard as the thinkers/psychologist/philosophers hallucinogen?
which one would you regard as the more social hallucinogen?
i know that things like that can't be generalised i want subjective opinions

Mushrooms are far more mental, for me, than LSD. They are intensely spiritual and thought-provoking, and often take me on journeys through the universe, terrestrial life and history, showing me just what God would be if it existed (which, by the way, I'm still on the fence about).
Acid is social and energetic, much less cerebral. That's not to trash on acid's mental effects, as I've had some very intensely expanded thought with LSD as well as mushrooms. It just goes about expanding your mind in a very different, more recreation-oriented, sort of way. I would say I have much more control over just what LSD does to my consciousness during a trip than with mushrooms (I once managed to look somewhat normal on 300 mics in the middle of a very crowded city).
Overall, the mushroom trip leans toward spiritual contemplation whereas the acid trip leans more toward fun and pure strangeness. At least, that is how the two drugs affect me personally.
Both are very enlightening in their own ways.

I would have to say they are both equal. I've had some mushrooms that didn't give me any mental trip at all, but for the most part i think LSD has let me down in that respect more than mushrooms. But some LSD has blown my mind. So i don't think it's fair to say either one is better in that respect. (both are amazing though!)

Definately LSD for this one. It brings out so much artistic creativity in me, whereas mushrooms I'm too out of it to draw most of the time. LSD stimulates my art, whereas mushrooms sort of show me it's own art.

I think mushrooms has enlightened me a lot more than LSD has, but that may be because i have only dosed as considerably high on mushrooms. They showed me that all is one, and that i am no different from the apples that i eat, and the air that i breath. They brought me to a higher plain where everything was one.

I would say mushrooms. With mushrooms, i always need to express what I'm thinking/feeling, and it is always good to do with friends. Though LSD is amazing with friends too. Come to think of it, they are both great with friends. LSD + friends = Mushrooms + friends.

profound? depending on dosage both are capable of the same profundity or depth of resonance which could also be regarded as depth of layers. mushroom often has a darker element from it's direct effect on the gut, and the greater the dose the more it affects the gut. lsd has a tensioning effect on my leg muscles which I attribute to it's ergot pedigree. but that could be my imagination.

realistically either is excellent up to a point for extra immersion in the process of creation. these psychedelics affect the content as well, by altering vision and dexterity, and altering one's affinity for motif and image density.

thinking is such a clandestine act. any independent thought seems subversive. lsd stores more secretively so I would let that connection go here. but i don't believe the effects of either are more "thinkish" than the other, all depends on dose, set and setting.

I think of booze as a social norm. since mushroom has some gut issues, adding booze to mushroom is less comfortable than adding booze to lsd, so lsd is more social from that stand point if and only if the dose stays light enough that the tripper can talk with people and drink with dignity.
