Casing after fruiting...
    #7527998 - 10/17/07 02:29 PM (16 years, 3 months ago)

Would there be a problem with applying a pasturized casing layer to a monotub that has been introduced to fruiting conditions for about 10 days now? I wanted to experiment and try and fruit without a casing layer. I found I really don't like this method. It has never taken longer than a week for my pins to form when using a casing layer.

It looks like the very beggining of hyphael knotts and would love to add a casing layer to help. It has a cool mist and ultra sonic on timers for humidity and massive FAE. It looks humid, but I dont think the enviornment is as controlled, like it would be with a casing layer.

So what are the chances of contams growing between the substrate and casing layer, since it has had FAE for ten days now? Thanx for all the help in advance:cheers:
