does that keep humidity? those holes seem kinda big.
id throw an air stone and lava rocks in there instead of perlite

A big tub holds a lot more air, which in turn can hold a lot more moisture than a little one.
If anything you can plug some of them with silicone or even just tape over them.

im not sure why you were told to cover those holes up.. when you put your hand in there does it feel tropical/humid? if so then your good. if you have a hygrometer to let you know then use that, but fair air exchange is SO important for good pinsets. i am just saying this because unless your going to fan 5-7 times a day after you plug your holes, you just wont be giving it the fresh air it needs. thats alot of perlite in there and im pretty sure thatll do the trick with mistings every once in a while.

more space in your growing chamber doesnt mean more humidity either..that just doesnt make any sense..

I never said he had to cover all the holes, I said a few.
It all depends on whether or not the container holds enough humidity, is what I was trying to get at.

If you cover some of the whole you'll have to fan more. Simple as that. All you can do is test. I haven't had experience with the exact setup so i can't tell you for sure, all i can say is that if there is no fresh air exchange then you will need to do it yourself for best results
