when people say things, and when i use words, I will be thinking of how i useualy hear it said and try to repeat it in such fashion...instead of thinking about what the words actually mean.
Its usualy common phrases that do this to me. I hear them so many times I never really think about it, i just say it, because I know to say it.
I can't think of any right now, but this happen to anyone else? Can you think of any phrases offhand that this happened to you?

Could you explain what you mean again? There is an awesome observation there I just can't seem to grasp.

I think what you're looking for are "memes"
What you are talking about is one of the simplest forms of a meme, anyway.

I hate it when people say: "I could care less about X."
meaning that they don't care about X.
It should be said: "I Could NOT care less about X."
because this implies that you couldn't possibly care any less about X, meaning that you don't care about X at all. Saying it the other way means that you do care about it at least some, because there is room for you to care less.
people say this shit without thinking about what it means, and it really pisses me off.

Once you exercise this freedom you've lost all control over what you do, what is produced, and how it is produced. And in the end, the product doesn't belong to you. The only way you can avoid bosses and jobs is if you don't care about making a living. Which leads to the second freedom: the freedom to starve." - Tom Morello

ok here's kinda a bad example of what i mean.
People say "Fuck you" all the time. You association it with anger and use it when angry with someone.
However I never actually look at the meaning of the words and what I'm actually saying. "fuck you" is actually saying bend over and get fucked.....but i just associate it with anger....never really thought about what it ment.
this happens to me all the time i don't realize what im actualy saying...just saying what "i learned to say" so to speak....

One instance stands out.
People use the word 'rape' a little too casually these days. In some circles 'getting raped' has come to mean not much more than just getting ripped off in some way.
I was bowling in a league with some friends next to a team we knew, and the guy next to us threw a perfect strike ball, but one pin amazingly did not get knocked down.
My friend shouts "GARY YOU GOT RAPED!" very loudly.
EVERYONE stopped bowling and looked at him. After that, my friends used the words "chili dip" as a code for getting 'raped' bowlingwise. Other teams picked up the term and they probably don't even know what they're saying.
