cambodians are most definately not the most potent. All psilocybe cubensis mushrooms are of aroudn the same potency.
Cambodian is just a certain type of psilocybe cubensis. The most potent mushroom (arguably) is psilocybe azurescens. They grow in washington and around there in woodchips and wood debris. It grows under cold conditions as far as mushroom growing conditions go...
Azurescens have been recorded to have 1.8% of its weigh as psilocybin (the active chemical in psilocybe mushrooms in case you didnt know) which is a pretty damn lot.
Edit: but as far as cubensis go, my favorite type is penis envy. It gave me one of the most pleasant mind/body trips, and it has never let me down.

Probably Azures and Cyans, followed by Pans. Cambodians are cubes and aren't as potent.

I believe it's p. azurescens. I've only tried them one time but I split 1/8 with my buddy and I tripped pretty damn hard. Normally that much wouldn't even give me visuals.

True, but they vary in potency as much as 100%, at least that is what I have heard.

Eh, cubensis strains may vary a bit in potency but not by very much(or at least it's not very noticeable). Most cubensis strains tend to have similar potency's and strengths I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, for the most part, but KSSS and Penis Envy are actually mutant strains, and therefore produce higher quantities of the good stuff, I think, but I could be wrong.

KS is a very fast colonizing and fruiting strain, way faster than something like B+, so I guess you could see that as sort of it being stronger (rhizomorphic). But more potent? Not neccesarily.

I've seen this chart, why does it show cubensis and cyanescens as almost equal?

Yeah I've only done a bunch of different strains of Cubes and a couple times on Semilanceata and the liberty caps were much more potent by weight.

I do think that consolidation plays a large role. Next time let your jars sit for 3 weeks after full colonization.

I found Psilocybe allenii to be quite stronger than Cyans. Maybe they're stronger than Azures too.

As far as I have understood and experienced, practially all cubes are about the same potentcy, with the exception of penis envy, which is ~1.5 or aybe 2x as potent. But this is th exception with the cubes. Fresh stone producing strains are somewhere around 2x as potent by weight compared with fresh cubes, but when dry are only like .75 as potent as dry cubes, as the stones have as much water weight to shed when dried. Others like cyans and the like are reportedly quite potent as well, moreso than cubensis, but I have no experience with them. P. weilii are also supposed to be pretty strong, more than cubes, but less than cyans, if I remember correctly. But again, I dont have experience with them, either.

Allenii, Azurescens and Subs are in the top of potency charts imo.
