Nice, I've seen videos of cockatoos dancing before but none have gotten into it as much as that one

That is SO AWESOME! I'm showing it to Kevin as soon as he gets home. I love birds! Intelligent feathered dinosaurs...pretty spectacular.

Birds are great! I used to not really like them very much - and I probably still wouldn't own one as a pet, because of our cats, but recently I did a pet sitting job for a client who had a cockatiel named Griffin. He knew all sorts of tricks and could whistle a few specific tunes, and when you told him to "make like an eagle" he would spread his wings out as far as he could and flap He also puts his beak close to people's lips and clucks it all cute to "give kisses". Now I think birds are pretty neat, since my first real experience with one was with such a cool bird.

I used to want an african gray soo bad as a kid. Having a pet that I could talk to and it would maybe understand (intelligence of a 3-4 yr old kid) and talk back really appealed to me. Then I got into horses instead.

African Grays are CRAZY expensive - but also incredibly smart and a ton of fun. It's a lot like having a toddler from what I hear though - they require almost constant attention and care.
