increased energy production in brain cells becuase of neurons firing at increased rate, coupled with an increse in blood supply to give the cells oxygen = more heat. yes?

The psilocybin is just metabolized by enzymes like any other drug, its these metabolites that are excreted through the urine that can be detected in a blood test. No antibodies are at work, its a pretty benign substance. Its not a poison that the body needs to rid itself of.
Psilocin just affects the central nervous system in a way that may increase blood pressure, or something.

Yeah, Psilocin is no more of a poison than Serotonin or 5-HTP...

Thats exactly what I would guess. Frying our brains with drugs is a myth.

Theres never been any brain damage shown with LSD or psilocybin. They simply activate the 5HT2 receptors in our brains. That's all. There is no brain damage. If it cause brain damage, try explaining people like that guy in the thumbprint thread I can't remember the name of. Took acid hundreds of times including multiple prints. They are perfectly fine and lead a happy life.

Frying ,
When we recieve large amounts of energy through these "drugs" and try to do simple little things like walk and eat and not concentrate on whats really happening.
So we're tripping out tryin to do things normal(how we usually do it)but instead your just freaking out because you have too much energy and your not using it.

Long term USE of E has few if any negative effects. Use meaning one time a month. That is the safe time between rolls. More than once a month is abuse. Long term E abuse can cause bad depression, poor memory, difficulty concentrating and I'm sure more things. Ecstasy is one of the worst drugs you can abuse IMO.

Isnt most of the warmness just a trick our minds play on us? i mean they are called "mind altering drugs". On mushrooms cant you hear stuff in a different way? on XTC cant you feel something in a different way? its all how your mind precieves it.
