Finally a motherload!!!! what you see in the pic isnt even half of what was there...end result was several pounds...lets just hope they are good for more than dye! [image] [/image]

Just keep looking man, you'll be able to find a few if you check places with a lot of damp dead trees. Hope to find out about the activity soon!

yea i just found some today i never really searched this time of year with an all out search but their there, no luck with amanita tho. check my post hows potency vary with those, i was thinking about chopping it all up and making a soup with noodles Japanese style. you beat me so far in finding gyms but not so much in amanita

Do they have no signs of green spots on the caps, gills, or mycelium base? Even maybe a greenish blue? Usually at least one or two of the mushrooms will have spots if they're active, but they could still be active with no colouring.

there can be blue greening and no activity as well they are shady
