hepa filter question

i just bought a small desktop hepa filter at a thrift store today for 3 bucks, i replaced the filter and cleaned it up real good...what can i do with it? it sucks air in from the front of the unit, and blows clean air out of the top. it also has settings for every month of the year. is there a particular setting i would want to use?
i have a glovebox...is there a worthwhile way to run this thing into the glovebox?

roger rabit has been saying that gloveboxes only need still air to do the job and moving air introduces or risks introducing contams and isn't needed..

you can use it to keep your office desk area clean with fresh air but I would otherwise try to keep at as far away from anything mycological as I could.

keep it running in the room you do all your business, it'll clean the air while your not doing anything, and when you need to do some work just turn it off to cut down on the airflow.

I think you'll be better off with a still air glove box and placing the filter in the room where your FC is. I took my HEPA apart the other day and was surprised to see how much shit was inside that must have gotten around the filter some how. In my opinion your better off with a still air box unless you want to invest in a flow hood. I've been using a still air box for a long time now for inoculation, grain to grain transfers, printing, and casing and rarely have a problem. I just started with LC and haven't run into any contams yet. I have a small HEPA unit in the closet next to my Martha and a big one in the room that the closet is accessed from.
