with my extensive practice using this substance i belive this experience to be true and also think it somehow reveals something about lsd's true nature. your thoughts?

I read your dream report and agree with alot of what you were saying. I never ate lsd in a lucid dream but I've had enough lucid dreams to the extend that I find it very hard to accept reality. At first I thought my lucid dreams were the greatest things ever, I mean total 100% freedom only limited by your imagination, but in time they deteriorated my mindset toward 'reality'.

Quote:

You sleep tight.
I'll endure this lonely night.
So silently and tranquil
I wait for my new dream to come

Dream Maker answer me this?
Have you ever crafted a dream so completely divine...
So utterly faultless...
So absolutely enchanting ...

That you had to shatter it?
Break it into infinite pieces and pieces of pieces.
So all could catch a piece.
And rejoice in your grandeur.

Or did you shatter it because.
It was your instant of perfection.
And the reflection of never being that again.
Scared you.

I ask you why because here I drift alone.
In the kingdom of your beautiful broken dream.
Somewhere between here.
Somewhere between there.
-Dakeva (bluelight)"twilight hours"

This thread would probably fare better in S&P.

I'd rather kill myself than trip forever.

Cool stuff.

I once had a dream that Terence McKenna and I smoked DMT.  I have never smoked DMT before.  The dream-trip was the most radical experience of formlessness I have any conscious memory of - though, of course, the 'memory' is just a wisp of 2D imagery.  Afterwards I felt as though McKenna had intervened in my trip (this life) from a higher realm (the afterlife) to give me a glimpse of what will later be experienced with full consciousness.  Safely distanced from the experience, I am more skeptical now. :tongue2:

My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

I've snorted cocaine in a dream before. I got all yappy, cocky and energetic. Never done coke before but I am guessing it would be the same experience I had in the dream. Its neat stuff.

interesting... i always find that when you're in a lucid dream, things can get more real than you could imagine, sometimes more real than real life like the guy in the dream report experienced.

Waking up to the notion that life is a dream. Seems truth is always tinged with paradox.
