That's not very nice.
Stick to BRF substrate and spawn it to bulk if you like.
Better yet, don't grow until you have your own place.

My local Walmart had a PC that was sold as a "pressure canner" next to the canning jars and supplies, rather than the puny little ones displayed with the pots and pans. Very nice really, considering it was only about $60. Id say go for it, if this is in your budget.
A PC is definitely a must if you want to use whole grains rather than brown rice flour. A smaller one will work, but they generally start at $30+, and the one I mentioned can do 7 quart jars at a time. If you get a PC much smaller than that, you may have to go with smaller jars, which defeats part of the purpose of using whole grains. So if you are serious about stepping up to rye/WBS/wheat/whatever, start saving your pennies, and be patient until you have a lot of them!
But if you live with your folks, growing shrooms with any method is probably a very bad idea. First, it might mean that you are a minor. Second, it could put your parents' entire home at risk due to seizure laws in some places. Thirdly, you probably don't want them finding out, unless they happen to like shrooms too. Any level of growing might be hard to conceal if you live in someone else's house.
I'd say go play baseball or hang out with friends, or whatever, rather than growing shrooms. If you are 18+, and serious about doing some seriously questionable shit, consider securing your own dwelling first, so you don't endanger your loved ones if you happen to get chatty with the wrong dude. SOrry if I sound condascending, but you can't be too careful, plus parents and kids with shrooms/pot don't mix, ever!

sorry if i am going off on a tangent here i'm pretty stoned.
anyways thanks for the advice all, i will post my results later on once i get some with swims current op
Are you aware of how much noise a PC makes?? I am down listen grain=PC you need one. But if you live with your mom don't you think steaming ass grains at 15 PSI is going to raise suspition? Think about it steaming ass jars of grain with foil and trash. Maybe wait till you get your own place.. Just my two cents.
