Side Effects

Hi, I'm new to the board so please forgive me if this is a redundant question.
My boyfriend and I shroom once every other month or so. Through trial and error, we found the tea method works best for us. Eating it has caused extreme stomach pain, gas, nausea, and vomiting. Even with the tea, we still suffer a bit. We feel great and groovy the first few hours. Then it goes down hill. Our eyes water excessively, and we have hyper mucous production in our sinuses and our intestines. What causes this? Is there a way to eliminate this side effect or does it unavoidable? Is it a common side effect? Shrooming makes us horny, but the side effects make it difficult to engage each other intimately.

well do you take the mushrooms around the same time every time you do? Do you live in a region where it is cold? And do you take them at night?
Taking them at night explains the eyes, because your body gets more and more tired as the night goes on. Even if you day trip, your body becomes fatigued, and it will start to look/feel "sleepy".
The sinus thing is a side effect some people feel on low to high doses, depending on the mushrooms you ingested, and the way your body in particular reacts to mushrooms/psilocybin.
I have had extremely runny nose mushrooms before, and runny nose acid. I guess its just a psychedelics thing .
For your next trip, have a box of tissues ready.
As for the loss of sex drive, i know exactly how you feel. Sometimes i will feel very inclined to make love, and other times i will feel that it is completely unnecessary. Either way, it is extremely hard to get the sex drive going. So i guess if you are looking for a drug to have sex on, mushrooms are not the ones for you. Maybe LSD will have a different effect on you.
Hope that was helpful. Good luck with everything.
Also, are you eating the same batch of mushrooms when you trip? Because again, mushrooms vary a lot with effects and side effects.

From what I've read, 2C-B is probably the best sex psychedelic.
I've never had side-effects like that from shrooming, but like above poster said try finding different varieties of them or getting them from a different provider.

Last sunday I ate less than 1g of mushrooms which gave me only side-effects.
- My heart went crazy like 120bpm for 2 hours. - My temperature went up to 38.5C (101.3F) for 1 hour before I took a cold shower. - I had nausea and excessive sweating. - My body felt sick like if it was impossible to move. - My head felt sick like if it was impossible to think. - My mouth was dry and tingling no matter how much water I took.
And that was just a normal Penis Envy 6.
That was a bad, bad experience.

Can anyone with real experience advise about using anti-histamines for the overactive sinus?

For the nausea try ginger root either in a tea or cut a sliver right off of the root. It does have a bite to it fresh from raw root.
