It's been a bit since i updated this. The casing is now in fruiting mode and has been for a few days. Geez, how bad is this. i can't even remember when i turned the temp down and the lights on. My instincts tell me Monday, but the more i think about it i think it could have been wednesday. It doesn't matter. The night before i started fruiting I dunked ten 1 pint PF cakes that i had made. One of which is rye (pictures on first page). Here's those:

Since i had ten i just bought a 2.5 gallon water container (distilled) and used that to do the dunk. It worked out well. THey actually froze a little bit too. I don't expect that to harm anything. lol. Call me crazy, but i like doing cakes. They aren't as messy and time consuming as bulk, although i have learned a lot from this experience with the poo.
So here we are waiting patiently for the first pins to arise. I just don't want to be disappointed. But if i am oh well. I've got more time and a few more jars left too. thanks for looking.

Yeah, my experience with this monotub has been all positive at this point. I just like the fact that the cakes are relatively clean compared to the pookitchen massacre. Here's the tub i got going now. I think we are about to see a pin explosion! *crosses fingers and prays to the mushroom Gods*

This is exactly the level I am going to take my jars to now. I have a pressure cooker, although it only fits 3 pints at a time, I will need double the jars to equel yours.
I haven't exactly figured it all out as far as what strains and how many of each. There are so many different ways I could go.
I just know that now I have a private room for at least 2 months which means I have much more space where I am keeping all my stuff. I am looking for a good incubation system so I can keep the jars at 83 all the time.

This thread has taught me the value of bulk substrate. I think i only used 8-10 quart jars to spawn with in that tub. Most of the sub was hpoo. So i think from now on i will just be doing poo grows with a few quarts of Good myc. I have been working on isolating a single strain from a SA print that i made from the largest fruit i have had thus far. Matter of fact i think that's what i will work on this weekend. i need to do more transfers. But anyway, 71 jars is way too many and i feel kinda foolish now for doing so many. lol. oh well. there are still a LOT of jars that can be used - so i will.

What's happening here is interesting. There seems to be a large pin right near the center of the tub. I hope that i start to see the pins fan outward in the next day or so. Here are a few more pics of the same ole tub.

LOL, it looks fine. I meant that there was a portrait of a mans head there. The pattern of myc made it. But now that i am looking at it after leaving for a while i can't even see it. lol. so nevermind i guess. i thought it was really cool at the time. lol. Anyway up until the pins came i had been pumping in humidifier air and now that the pins are coming along great i am using my vicks for air exchange. God this really looks like it has the potential to have a phenomenal pin set i just hope i dont fuck it up this week. Here's another fun one im working on....

Holy crap. This looks awesome man. How long do you think the hpoo stunk up your house? And what other way do you think I could pull off some hpoo pasteurizing than within my house? You used wbs? Did you use an LC, or did you just use spores? Do you think that an LC would be more, less, or equally effective? How's the coffee/coir coming? Again, Awesome.
