Being british, we don't really have the whole jam band culture our american counterparts do (However we do / did have the beatles / pink floyd ).
After listening to some of the dead music that floats around these forums.. I can say that its an ok genre. I do much prefer the 'spacey jams' without lyrics. I am very fond of blues jams as well, and genres such as acid jazz.
I was just wondering if any of you folks could point me in the direction of some tasty jams, whether its uploads of streaming. The spacier and tripped out the better...

Spacey, tripped-out jams? Some of your own countrymen make some great ones.
Dammit, I uploaded the wrong song. That one's pretty good in its own right, but I meant to load Angelic Particles (Buckminster Fullerine Mix). Now I don't have enough shroomery upload left to do it. Maybe I'll load it manually to a different server later on. Gotta go get me a chipotle cheesesteak sub.

Nothing says spacey like a nice fat Dark Star. This is from Dick's Picks volume 19 (from Oklahoma City, OK 10/19/73). The tracks that follows is Mind Left Body Jam. I'll upload that one too in a few minutes.
