Are martha's always a closed system?

what I mean is, do martha's have a 100% sealed plastic bubble to them with a zipper and then fresh air and humidity is brought in/pushed out by ducting? I have a mini green house and it's 2 shelves high but not closed on the bottom and I was thinking of getting some green house plastic and adding it to the bottom so it traps the humidity..

greenhouses and marthas are never supposed to be sealed. they should have the door open a bit, or slits in the side, or both even to allow air exchange. sealing up a greenhouse/martha is a bad idea. running ductwork for fae in a closed FC will cause the air to develop pockets and area that stay stale. air in a fruiting chamber shouldn't just be fresh and moving, it should be turbulent. stale air pockets and layers are bad for business.

I seal off the bottoms my greenhouses by taping 55 gallon trash bags around the bottom and putting a coolmist on the bottom self. The front flap is then rolled up to expose the intake of the humidifier and a few slits are cut into the plastic for extra FAE.

I use a cool mist inside mine as well. I also cut holes the size of nickels on both sides from top to bottom and put a fan nearby.

What I did was there are already holes for breathing in the sides 2 on the bottom left and right and top left and right. I just put 3M grade medical tape over them on top so they could still breath but but somewhat restricted and then on the bottom left and right it's open so it forces most of the air from top down and out the bottom, and the top corner of the zipper has a flap that covers the hole but it still has an opening because the zipper won't close it completely so a little air goes out there too.
