nutrients required by plants and those needed by mushrooms are different. that stuff would be pretty much useless

i can only see a use for it in the pf tek method or a bulk substate, otherwise the mycelium won't use it if its applied like a coating. if it were mixed into the substrate, e.g. brf or similar, i believe it would have some benefits. i don't see how it would cause any harm, unless it aids the propagation of unwanted bacteria and mold. although i have heard its acidic, which may just be conjecture. give it a whirl and let us know.

i'm not this hanky character you suppose i am. i barely discovered the shroomery about 2 months ago. i honestly would like to know whether or not mycelium would benefit from the infusion of superthrive. tell me why they wouldn't and the need to argue will cease.

because nutrients needed by mycelium differs from that needed by plants.

that stuff is formulated for PLANTS, not fungus. not to mention plant food contains minerals which can be toxic to mycelium.

Super thrive is used as a soil add. to jump start and keep
going the perfect micro climate in the soil.wonders for vegging mj

No they don't. Mushrooms are not plants and do not eat the same foods as plants. Vitamins and hormones intended for plants will be of no benefit to fungi.

I'm going to close this thread to keep the forum centered on mycology, not mj cultivation.
