how big are the buttons u use man? pereskiopsis is only good for tiny grafts, like seedlings or aeroles...
if they are buttons from the grafts i traded with ya, id say they are too big for the stock... u should try using a fatter stock plant if that is the case...

Are you matching the vascular rings correctly?

graftings easy, but like uare said, those pups may be to big for pereskiopsis. you should try grafting to a trich or myrtillocactus.

lol stop being a big baby and go to your local garden centre and buy some suitable stocks! grafting is a piece of piss if u bother to read the theory behind it and the methods used.
it sounds like the pups are too big for the stock man... simple as that... its not a great idea to try and graft anything to pereskiopsis that is larger than the diameter of the stock itself...
as for vascular rings: when u cut a cactus u will see a ring which is where the cactus passes up nutrient, if those rings dont overlap then there is no hope for your grafts... usually u will find that the rings vary in size, so u have to make sure they touch in two places, as matching them up perfectly is impossible when the size varies...
vascular rings.
this is how they should overlap if one is bigger than the other, so they touch in two places.
