gluke bastid has provided exactly zero information to back up his assertion that not all christians believe jesus is the son of dog. So, until he does, I'll just consider it bullshit.

Ron Paul is a big time racist. Just look at some of his comments on blacks.
Quote:
Paul reported on gang crime in Los Angeles and commented, “If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.”
“Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal,” Paul said.
Paul also wrote that although “we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.”
Stating that lobbying groups who seek special favors and handouts are evil, Paul wrote, “By far the most powerful lobby in Washington of the bad sort is the Israeli government” and that the goal of the Zionist movement is to stifle criticism.
Just do a quick search for Ron Paul Racism and you will find much you probably didn't know about this man.

I was raised by quakers and went to a quaker school for 12 years. My girfriend who I have been dating for several years has been a unitarian her whole life, and I go to her church occasionally. I don't consider myself a quaker or a unitarian but I sure as hell know what they are about. Quakers don't even talk about Jesus at meeting for worship. Go to a quaker meeting. See for yourself.
I'm not looking up internet definitions for your dumb ass. Anyone who knows any quakers or unitarians will back me up on this. You are willfully ignorant about religon and if you want to keep it that way that is not my problem. If it is easier for you to stay uninformed than fine, but don't call me a bullshitter when you are the one with brown eyes.

Thanks for the linkage backing your point up. You have always been one of the strongest at that. Could you give me your girlfriend's Grandma's e-mail? Just to get a clarification. Since you refuse to provide one. Thanks in advance.

You just don't get it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitarian
Quote:
"Unitarianism is the belief in the single personality of God, in contrast to the doctrine of the Trinity (three persons in one God). It is the philosophy upon which the modern Unitarian movement was based, and, according to its proponents, is the original form of Christianity. Unitarian Christians believe in the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, as found in the New Testament and other early Christian writings, and hold him up as an exemplar. Adhering to strict monotheism, they maintain that Jesus was a great man and a prophet of God, perhaps even a supernatural being, but not God himself. Unitarians believe in the moral authority, but not necessarily the divinity, of Jesus. They do not pray to Jesus, but to God directly. Their theology is thus distinguishable from the theology of Catholic, Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and other Christian denominations, who hold the Trinity doctrine as a core belief"
Any of the links at the bottom of the page provide further insight. http://www.uua.org/ http://www.sullivan-county.com/deism/unitarians.htm
What is the point, though? The words back up exactly what I am saying, and yet they fail to describe the essence of the religion...the fundamental notion of certain arms of non-fundamentalist christianity that even the basic interpretation of the nature of Jesus is left to the interpretation of the individual. You are closed minded and I feel dirty trying to explain subjective, non-dogmatic religion to you in objective terms. It is highly insulting of you, even more than usual, to try and tell me that after 12 years of Quaker schooling I don't understand what the religion means. If you don't trust the opinion of a professional chef and how to chop onions because he doesn't provide links, than who will you trust. And yet, here I am typing this. I have no idea why. I guess I just get irritated by being acussed of bullshitting because I learn through experience instead of reading a bunch of crap on the internet.
I can understand an insistance on proof on sources when I am trying to prove political matters but this one is different entirely. To set the record straight, your assertion that I don't provide decent links is incorrect.

Why thank you. Was that so hard? And you shot your own self in the dick with the second link which says this:
Quote:
According to the Unitarian-Universalist Christian Fellowship, "Unitarian Christians do share some common beliefs. Most believe in a personal God and a personal savior in his Son the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ. Most Unitarian Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and not God Himself (second part of the Trinity).
When are you guys going to realize that I actually read the links?
As far as this goes:
Quote:
I can understand an insistance on proof on sources when I am trying to prove political matters but this one is different entirely. To set the record straight, your assertion that I don't provide decent links is incorrect.
Oh it was decent alright. Very, very decent. Late, but I found it immensely useful. Very, very useful. And Gastronomicus, I'm sure gluke finds your cheerleading gratifying but it is, in the end, worthless. Did you read the link?

I'd probably be an atheist if it wasn't for 30 years worth of out of the body experiences, meeting my twin soul and a near twin. One time during an out of the body experience, I looked out the window and saw something that looked a tornado, but was still (not moving), coming down from the sky toward my bed room. Next to it, I saw what looked like a giant walking across the horizon. It freaked me out. I stood there and looked at the giant and he looked at me. I didn't know what to think about it. A couple months later, I had a sleep paralysis experience and saw the same man in my bed room looking at me. I have a feeling he belongs with the ones in the spirit world that have some kind of control over us and our destiny.
Also, read some books by Michael Newton, Dannion Brinkly, "Soul Mates" by Jess Stern and "Journies Out of the Body" by Robert Monroe for some insights.
