I can only see it spinning clockwise. As far as I'm concerned, if you see it going another way, your brain is most likely broken.

Actually, im positive she spins both ways. Be patient and wait for a minute. It's a deception, not a way to gauge right and left brained thinking.

didn't know there was already a 4 page post about this...
anyways, i thought for sure she could only spin clockwise, then i turned my head sideways, and only looked at her feet, and tried to just force myself into seeing her spinning counter-clockwise...
turned my head up, and alas, she is spinning the other way, with oddly enough, her OTHER foot raised in the air.
pretty neat.

You don't need any tricks to see her spin the other way, it happens automatically. I watched her go from a clockwise rotation to counter clockwise, then back and repeat.

observe. the image actually does rotate depending on how you look at it (because it is a shadow), but it is also animated so that it will change direction predictably from time to time..

The animation isn't the one changing the direction. Your mind does it.

just lettin you know, it makes you look amazingly ignorant when you talk with certainty on a subject that you haven't even put much thought into
right click... save file as... save to desktop (to ensure there's no trickery being done in the browser)
now just play with the gif
doesn't take long to get full control over it(i.e. - see her do half turn one way, half turn the other, as many full rotations as you want one way, etc etc)

correct, but the animation within the loop changes. this can be determined by slowing the gif down and observing the rotation of her head in combination with the body.
it is true that the image can be manipulated by the mind, but it is also true that the image occasionally changes its direction independently from the mind.

Incorrect, I never see it going counter clock wise.

There was a thread about this in S&T too, if you can't see the illusion try looking at this.

Look there and you will see it, it changes directions defiantly. I focus on her nipples to get it to change, plus shes got nice nipples. Reminds me of my girl, she dances professionally.

For me it still switches sometimes so that the face is sliding around her head the wrong way. It just happens sometimes when I move my head.

i think ythan posted it a couple of months ago.
pretty cool though, hadn't seen since then. it took me a while to be able to get her to change direction but now i can do it at will.
