Flashbacks in dreams...

Last night in my dream I had a very intense (more intense then I've ever had) salvia flashback (It was basically a full blown break through) the experience was extremely weird, since I was already inside of myself (dreaming) and then the salvia only made me go even deeper inside. Has anyone else had this sort of experiences or flashbacks in dreams?

Not with salvia specifically, but I've had trips in dreams that were just as intense and transformative as actually being awake and under the influence of a drug. It's pretty normal, though somewhat rare, and can be a wonderful thing. Don't worry about it at all, unless it bothers you.

Sometimes I dream of my mushroom trips. They are really intense, too. This happens when I'm really looking forward to the harvest (which is unfortunately far away )!

I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or tripping once. If you've ever had sleep paralysis, there's a point where your imagination can be working in full 3d, just like when you are tripping. To me it doesn't seem fair to say these dreams are memories of trips, they have been happening to me as long as I can remember. Flashbacks to me are a natural state of mind that I couldn't recognize until I had induced that state on myself, giving me the means to compare and describe it.
I'm having trouble explaining what I mean here.. but I guess a good way to put it is that somebody says "i was tripping in my dream" but they would never say "i was dreaming in my trip," which is strange to me because the dreams are natural to most humans, but we tend to compare them to tripping instead of comparing tripping to them.
In short, I don't believe flashbacks exist.
hope that made sense.. can anyone tell what I'm getting at?

I get what you are saying vapor. Deep tripping and dreams are fairly interchangeable in the way that I view them. There are discernible differences though usually.
I too have had trips inside of dreams. One of the best trips I ever had was in a dream. In the dream it was supposedly shrooms that I ate but no shrooms ever gave me such euphoria and intense visuals in real life. Not hallucinations but visuals. I couldn't believe how hard I was tripping yet I also felt so good.
As for salvia. I've probaly had 50+ salvia trips for every shroom trip that I've had. I think the heavy salvia use has increased my dreams both in the amount of dreams as well as the depth and variety of them. I don't really recal ever experiencing anything concerning salvia like I did with the shroom trip dream.

Thanks. I don't remember where I picked it up. Ran across it somewhere.
Where are you digging up these old posts? Your last one was nearly a year old.

I've had dreams where I was tripping on mushrooms and all of a sudden was sent to the hellish bad trip I experienced in real life where I was completely stuck in moving patterns and full of confusion. I generally wake up once I hit that point in a bit of fright and am disoriented at my awaking.
