More people will just have to grow it themselves and sell it underground like most parts of the world do. I don't think it will change things much, though maybe festivals and events where mushrooms are used might be hindered.

It's nice that at least in the US LSD is making a comeback around the time that the government is starting to target mushrooms. Around here I hear more and more stories of "Narcotic Mushroom" Busts, and in England and the Netherlands they have now outlawed them without any sane reason. Zoloft has caused more suicides.
Acid took a little break and let mushrooms have a few years, but now that all the ignorants around the world want to jail people for mushrooms, good ole' lysergic is back. And fortunately, it is much harder for them to detect than anything else. There was a reason LSD was sythesized.

I think someone should attempt to get alcohol banned (just to prove a point) based on the grounds that * (1) Schedule I. - (A) The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse. (B) The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States. (C) There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.
So if they say "No, thats stupid" get shroomz unbanned

It might be a good idea, but they might argue that alcohol does have medical value. (I'm not sure if it does in the eyes of the usda or not. )

You could also argue mushrooms do as well (compared to liquor anyway) which is the point, not to mention shrooms aren't addictive. The point being if you ban mushrooms under certain rules you should ban alcohol and ciggarettes unless you have a double standard (which they do)

This makes me hate my government.
Although not all of the parties agreed to it.
Guess I know what I'll be voting this year.

apparently its more profitable to have it banned otherwise they wouldn't do it, i mean look at how much money the usa is making off their illegal substances.
People on here always say look how much money they would make if it was legal....wrong, look how much money a house is worth after you steal it out from under a drug user.

Two kinds of cunts are responsible for this.
The first group of cunts, domestic cunts, are the rightwing and christian rightwing people who created our current coalition government. The Socialist Party was supposed to be part of the elections. It had won. But the rightwingers pulled a quicky and made a Christian fundamentalist party part of the coalition instead. These types are ofcourse aqnti-everything. Upping the age of drinking, restricting sale of alcohol and cannabis, and now this.
The second group of cunts, the foreign cunts, are many of the so called drug tourists.
Quote:
According to a study published in January by Amsterdam’s health services, the city’s emergency services were summoned 148 times to deal with a bad reaction to mushrooms in 2004-2006. Of those 134 were foreigners, with Britons forming the largest group.
This is the truth. They come to amsterdam, cram themselves full of all sorts of drugs they can lay their hands on in insane doses and then call the ambulance.
Thanks a lot for spoiling a wonderful thing, Jesus freaks and drug tourists

Holland used to be a wonderful place where there were about as many to the political left as to the right. They balanced each other out and this made wonderful things possible.
No more. About 2/3 votes rightwing now and the main leftwing party has moved to the right also. And once either side of the political spectrum becomes too strong the balance is lost and damage is done.
Our current coalition is a center-right one with a religious undertaste. Our prime minister wants GW Bush's baby.
The wrong people are in power and they are destroying our cannabis & mushroom freedoms.
If we had had a Workers Party/Green Left/Socialist Party coalition for several terms then the mushrooms and weed would be legalized, and perhaps MDMA also. It would definitely have gotten Soft Drug status.
But no, we now have a bunch of religious visionaries in power.
I cry for my country. In the last 15 years it has gone to SHIT
