GROW ROOM Help needed

I'm looking at possibly making a room in my basement a 8' x 6' fruiting chamber. The room would be heated from a small space heater and humidity would be provided with a small humidifier.
Assuming humidity and temperature regulation is not a problem and I sanitize the entire room before each run, how can I protect the room against basement contaminants coming from outside the room?
How resistant to contaminants are fully colonized substrates ready for casing?
This is sort of a large project so I need any tips I can get before I undertake it.

you don't really have to worry about serility at that stage. you need to focus more on fae. you are going to need fresh air in the room to prevent contamination

I would have a fan in the room to circulate the air.
I suppose FAE would be really an issue since most of the air in the basement would be stale. Any suggestions?

You asked "How resistant to contaminants are fully colonized substrates ready for casing?"
Very, sounds like you will have no trouble at all. Maybe a small hepa filter, or regular cleanings will be fine.
That is a really nice set-up, small room at perfect temp and RH.
One giant fruiting chamber!

You might want to look into Sporicidin, since your space is small, and easy to control, you could have lab conditions in there without too much trouble.

Approximately 24' x 30'.

24' x 30' is too big, unless you are commercial.

I actually have access to Cavicide which appears to be very similiar, but doesn't have residual effects. Do you know the minute times that Sporicidin takes to kill things? Cavicide is anywhere from instantaneous to 10 minutes.
"CaviCide is a convenient, ready-to-use, high-level disinfectant that is effective against TB, HBV, viruses (hydrophilic and lipophilic), bacteria (including MRSA and VRE) and fungi. This product is for professional use only although it is safe for all areas and when used as directed, it will effectively clean and decontaminates critical and semi-critical instrumentation. It is safe for use on non-porous surfaces and perfect for cleaning and decontamination of environmental and medical device surfaces."

The entire basement is that large. The room I am working with is approximately 6' x 8'.
