Macro shots of my mushies TRICH?

Hey guys, I just bought my first digital camera, so here are some macro shots of my pins (I guess you can't call them pins anymore, they are about 3/4 of an inch long)

While taking these pictures, I discovered a problem. There is a greenish area here with stuff seeping out. I don't know if its hard or gooey because I didn't touch it, although it looks wet. Anyone have any idea? Looks like my cake got an STD (Is it trich? do I need to toss out my precious few mushies?)

edit: posted some hopefully clearer pics

Haha, looks like someone got worried. It's like the blair witch project. Anyways, I would bet that the yellow is just some kind of metabolites. Just keep track of it and it it spreads or becomes a whole lot worse then start to worry. After all, you're past the point of worrying if you're going to get pins or not.

Ok I updated the OP with new pics, the first two kind of suck but the last one is pretty damned clear, I need to get better with this camera, sorry about that.

thats always the scary/happy stage for my friend. he seems to get either badass pinsets or the exact opposite. nothing like mother nature to mess with your head.
i cant identify the yellow you speak of btw.

if in doubt, throw it out..
no need to risk contaminating the rest of your cakes to save one, imo.
once you start seeing green, mold spores are being produced... you don't want them to spread to your other cakes and find a footing.

That cakes definitely a goner. It's never worth it to try and do battle trich. Just get rid of the cake and take the loss before you risk spreading it to your other cakes. Make sure you give your fruiting chamber a thorough cleaning after this grow has completed. Trich spores like to hang around.

Yes, bury it outside in the yard, or even in one of your houseplants if it's too cold outside.
Read up on white balance for your new camera. Those yellow tinted pictures are caused from having it set for outdoor use, but taking pictures under incandescent light. You'll have settings that correspond to the ambient color temperature of the light you're taking pictures in. RR
